Ingredients:
6 eggs
1 1/2 C sugar
1/2 gallon sweet milk
2 cartons half and half
1 t vanilla
pinch of salt
1 large can of carnation milk

Directions:

  • Beat eggs sugar and salt.
  • Continue beating while adding carnation milk, half and half, and vanilla.
  • Pour into 4 qt freezer, then add enough sweet milk to fill freezer within 2 inches of the top.
  • Freeze with 4 parts ice to 1 part salt.

This basic recipe can be used and add various fruits. You may need to adjust the sugar to compensate for the sweetness of some fruits.
