Ingredients:
2 T Olive Oil
1 Onion Diced
1 Garlic Clove
1 28 oz Can of Peeled Crushed Tomatoes
1 6 oz Can of Tomato Paste
1 t Salt
Dash of Ground Black Pepper
1/2 t Basil (Grind it in your hand when adding)
1/2 t Rounded of Oregano
Handful of Parsley Flakes
Directions:
- Heat oil in a 3 qt pan
- Add onion
- Push garlic clove through a garlic press
- Sauté onion and garlic until onion is translucent
- Add peeled, crushed tomatoes and tomato paste
- Fill tomato paste can with water and add to the pan
- Add remaining ingredients
- Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer 30 minutes
- Stir occasionally
When ready, either brown meat in a frying pan, drain the fat, and then add the meat to the sauce. Or, add your meatballs.
