Ingredients:

2 T Olive Oil
1 Onion Diced
1 Garlic Clove
1 28 oz Can of Peeled Crushed Tomatoes
1 6 oz Can of Tomato Paste
1 t Salt
Dash of Ground Black Pepper
1/2 t Basil (Grind it in your hand when adding)
1/2 t Rounded of Oregano
Handful of Parsley Flakes

Directions:

  • Heat oil in a 3 qt pan
  • Add onion
  • Push garlic clove through a garlic press
  • Sauté onion and garlic until onion is translucent
  • Add peeled, crushed tomatoes and tomato paste
  • Fill tomato paste can with water and add to the pan
  • Add remaining ingredients
  • Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer 30 minutes
  • Stir occasionally

When ready, either brown meat in a frying pan, drain the fat, and then add the meat to the sauce. Or, add your meatballs.
